Holmby Hills is a neighborhood located in the westside of Los Angeles in the Westwood district. It is the smallest neighborhood out of the Platinum Triangle, which consists of Holmby Hills, Bel-Air, and Beverly Hills. Though it might be the smallest out of the three, it is the most exclusive.


This neighborhood has mega mansions and includes some of the most historic estates in Los Angeles. It has lush landscapes, public parks, beautiful scenery that will leave you mesmerized. The Communities of the Holmby Hills Neighborhood

This is one of the most expensive neighborhoods in America, and absolutely one of the most exclusive. Some of the most famous houses in Holmby Hills are the Playboy Mansion and the Aaron Spelling mansion.


This is the best place to stay if you are looking for privacy, exclusivity, and calmness. Little Holmby is a neighborhood within Holmby Hills that is located to the west close to UCLA (University of California, Los Angeles). The homes here are more affordably priced, but since this is Holmby Hills, these homes are still in the millions.

When thinking about restaurants in Holmby Hills a few names come to mind. You need to visit Otro Dia Tacos Barra De Tacos En LA, this is a wonderful Mexican restaurant that will fill your stomach and satisfy that urge of yours to eat some great food. If you are a fan of Mexican cuisine, then visit this place and eat to your heart’s content. Sfixio is an Italian restaurant that you want to eat at when in Holmby Hills. You will get to eat some incredible food and receive some of the friendliest customer service ever. The menu is extensive, and it will satisfy that Italian food craving you have.


When thinking about shopping Holmby Hills you might not think too much about it since Holmby Hills is a very exclusive neighborhood, that wouldn’t want too much traffic going in and out of it. However, just a short trip to close by areas in Westwood will have the number of shopping options seem endless. You can visit the Westwood Village Farmer’s Market which has a huge variety of products ranging from seafood to spices, they have almost everything you would need.


The Westfield Century City is a massive outdoor mall that will leave you stunned. This shopping center has two levels and is 1.3 million square feet. It has around 200 different stores inside of it, here is where you will find almost everything you may be looking for.


When looking to be entertained you have many different options. You can check out Wilshire Boulevard which isn’t too far from Holmby Hills where you can find many high-rises, restaurants, shops, museums, you name it. This area is packed with things to do and entertainment to find. Check out The Fowler Museum if you’re interested in global arts and cultures. If you are interested in that, then this museum is the place you need to visit. Holmby Park is a picturesque park with so many possible activities that could keep you entertained all day, whether you are alone or with friends and family. You can play mini golf, go hiking, bicycle, just relax and enjoy the scenery, and more. This public park is a must-visit location.

Things To Do

You can visit the Fox Theatre which will remind you of the massive amounts of cinema culture that LA has. This building cannot be missed, the gigantic white tower can be seen for miles away. This theatre hosts many movie premiers, and you will usually see it flooded with glamour Hollywood elites waiting to see a premier. Anyone can visit this theatre, when there isn’t a premier, there are many showtimes that you can catch.


Check out the Botanical Gardens which are a literal oasis, and you will be astonished by its beauty. Everyone should really visit this place at least once, it’s worth the trip if you want to see jaw-dropping scenery and a calming vibrant atmosphere.


The Hammer Museum is an incredible museum which has striking artwork and the atmosphere is wonderful. You can then relax in the courtyard with some food with friends and family to take it easy and just take in the surroundings. Holmby Park is one of the best parks in Holmby Hills, you can go picnicking, mini-golfing, hiking, there’s a children’s play area, this park is simply great. You need to visit it.
